Launch of our new WK 260 test devices, a new generation low voltage test systems, adding new functionality to the cable test and the functional test in the automotive industry.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes assigns WEETECH as the new supplier for cable test equipment

2013 WEETECH celebrates its 40th anniversary and achieves the best annual result since its foundation
2011

Launch of the new portable W 434 High Voltage Test System

2007 Launch of a new generation of high voltage and functional test systems: the W 454. Modularly built, it offers its customers a high flexibility for a changing environment.
2007 Formation of WEETECH GmbH in Wertheim, Germany, with subsidiaries in the USA, Italy and in The Netherlands and acquisition of the business line Cable and Functional Test of the Schaffner Test Systems Division (former WEE Electrotest Group) through an MBO.
2002 For reasons of age of its owner, Electrotest Group sold to Schaffner EMV AG (Switzerland).
Integration into the test-systems division.
1999 Subsidiary in The Netherlands established.
First functional test systems for aerospace and train industries.
1998 In course of the celebration of the 25th anniversary opening of a new production floor (2,400 m² / 26,000 ft²). ELECTROTEST AG holding established in Krailing near Munich.
1996 First portable functional test system for the automotive industry

Certification according to DIN ISO 9001 - as the word's first manufacturer of automated test systems for cables and backplanes

1992

Subsidiary in Italy established.
First big order from Airbus Hamburg for a high voltage test system to test the harness of the A320

1988

Relocation to our new buildings in Wertheim, Hafenstrasse 1.

1987 Subsidiaries in the United States and in France established.
1977

First high voltage tester with up to 1,000 VDC.

1975 Development of the first cable tester for the automotive industry.
Following a broad implementation at Kabelwerke Reinshagen (today DELPHI) and Leonische Drahtwerke (today LEONI).
1973 Foundation of WEE Elektronik Entwicklungs GmbH in Wertheim, Germany.
Majority shareholder is ERSA Löttechnik, Wertheim.
